Most spaces are available on weekday evenings from around 5pm until 10pm, all day at weekends from 8am until 10pm, and throughout the school holidays. Daytime hire is possible at some sites where the space is not in curriculum use.
Rates vary by school, size and time of day. As a guide, classrooms start from about £5 per hour, meeting rooms and dance and drama studios from about £20–£25 per hour, sports halls from about £35 per hour, main halls from about £40 per hour and floodlit 3G pitches from about £50 per hour. Regular block bookings usually attract a better rate.
Yes. A Schools Plus venue host is present for every booking. They open up, show you to your space, deal with any issues during the session, oversee safety and lock up afterwards. You never collect keys or manage the building yourself.
We wish we could give you a simple and straightforward answer to this question, but the honest one is: it depends. We usually don't require you to have a specific insurance policy to book our facilities. If one is required, it will be flagged promptly during the booking process, so you know exactly where you stand before you confirm.

Yes. Community groups, sports clubs, faith groups, charities, businesses and individuals can all hire space at our partner schools. Many schools offer reduced community rates for local not-for-profit groups.
