Schools Plus has just undergone their first ever boot camp training session and half of the globe site

staff had the privilege to be the first ones to experience it. The boot camp was full of important

information which some of the Schools plus staff may have already known and some that was

completely knew to us.

The day was not your average boring training day as Robert Sladden and Lisa Berryman made sure

that the weekend was full of small fun things to keep us entertained, such as quizzes and fun

activities for example, different ways as equipment should be moved around in the safe and

appropriate way , also what we should do if there was a fire.

We also role played different scenarios for different issues that could occur within the schools plus

company, for example dealing with staff issues and also customer issues. To end the weekend we had

the pleasure of meeting the famous James Woods himself. He was wonderful to talk to and made us

all aware that this isn’t your average company and that we are a team and we are a strong team that

should work together and not feel afraid to being new ideas to the table, which could improve the

company.

Within the globe site itself, we have just had the first ever school fair which went great. There was an

amazing outcome allowing the school year to end on a wonderful note. However seems as though

the school are no longer in, this gives us a lot more free space for activities to happen throughout the

day.

Last but certainly not least I would like to give a huge warm welcome to Majel David and Theo

Faulkner, the new members of the Globe site team, I hope you have a wonderful time working with

us.
